Arnold passes test to enroll at Georgia

ATLANTA - Wayne Arnold, one of four Georgia recruits who had trouble qualifying academically, has passed an Internet-based correspondence course that reportedly fulfills his requirements for a high school diploma. <br> <br> Arnold, a Berkmar High School guard who was named last season as ``Mr. Georgia Basketball,&#39;&#39; is expected to enroll at Georgia this week, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday. <br> <br> The university&#39;s compliance director, Amy Chisholm, said Monday that Arnold has met the NCAA&#39;s other academic requirements. <br> <br> If he was unable to enroll, that would mean that coach Jim Harrick&#39;s entire class of recruits would be ineligible to play. <br> <br> Center Larry Turner, of Milledgeville, was denied admission because of a questionable score on his ACT test, and he has since enrolled at Oklahoma. Center Julius Lamptey, of Oklahoma City, and forward Alexander Johnson, of Albany, have enrolled in prep schools.
