Convenience store clerk killed in shooting

DeKalb County police are investigating the shooting death of a clerk Monday morning at a convenience store on Memorial Drive. <br> <br> The body of 36-year-old Zul Charania was found just before 9 a.m. Monday morning inside the Marathon Food Mart. <br> <br> DeKalb police Lieutenant L.J. Florea says investigators believe the clerk was killed sometime after 7:30 a.m. <br> <br> A witness said she spotted a man walk out of the store, lock the door, and then drive off in the victim&#39;s white Lexus. <br> <br> Police are showing the store&#39;s other clerks print-outs of the suspect from the store&#39;s surveillance camera in hopes someone will recognize the killer. <br> <br> The killing was the second fatal shooting of a convenience store clerk in the county in less than a month. <br> <br> On July 22, Mohammed Abedin was killed during a robbery at a Texaco station on Lawrenceville Highway. <br> <br> Police last week arrested Cornelius Howard and Shakina Cheney and charged them with murder and armed robbery.
