Multi-vehicle crash kills one, injures another on Ga. 400

ATLANTA - One driver was killed and another critically injured Tuesday when a car driving northbound on Georgia Highway 400 crossed the median and hit four vehicles. <br> <br> The wreck happened about 6:45 a.m. when a Buick Park Avenue crossed the median and hit a Chevy Tahoe head-on, said Mark McKinnon, spokesman for the Department of Transportation. <br> <br> The Buick then hit three other southbound vehicles before coming to a stop. <br> <br> The driver of the Buick was killed, and the Tahoe driver was critically injured, McKinnon said. <br> <br> Officials closed the southbound lanes of Georgia 400, a highway north of Atlanta, for several hours and rerouted traffic. <br> <br> The accident is under investigation.<br> <br> Officials say the southbound lanes may be open by noon.
