Computer hacker may have stolen personal information at Albany marine base

ALBANY - Hundreds of civilian employees at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany are being warned that a computer hacker may have stolen personal information. <br> <br> Officials say Social Security numbers, addresses and telephone numbers of more than 1,200 civilian employees at the base&#39;s maintenance center were on a Defense Department server that was hacked in Pennsylvania. <br> <br> Tuesday the base gave employees information about protecting themselves against credit card fraud and identity theft. <br> <br> The base is setting up a website so workers can find out more about the security breach.
