Madison County deputy cleared in shooting

DANIELSVILLE - A Madison County Sheriff's Deputy who was on administrative leave has been cleared of any wrongdoing after shooting a man during a domestic confrontation. <br>
<br>
The shooting happen last Thursday when police where called to a home to find 42-year-old Mark Rice of Ila threatening a woman with a knife. <br>
<br>
Authorities say when Rice attacked the deputy he was shot. <br>
<br>
The deputy was not hurt. Rice is expected to recover.
