Officers arrest two after five-hour chase

VALDOSTA - Authorities in south Georgia have arrested two suspects who fled after a routine traffic stop on Interstate 75. <br> <br> The Lowndes County Sheriff&#39;s Department says Chad Huff and Cynthia House left their homes in Missouri and headed to Jacksonville, Florida, to visit House&#39;s mother. <br> <br> In Valdosta, a deputy pulled them over for a seatbelt violation. Authorities say both Huff - who was wanted on a parole violation - and House fled the car. Both were in custody after a five-hour chase. <br> <br> Authorities say House managed to travel barefoot through two and a half miles of swamp. <br> <br> Huff has been charged with obstruction and several traffic violations. House is charged with obstruction of an officer and a seat belt violation. <br> <br> (WALB-TV, David Fuller)
