Texaco worker shot to death in late night robbery

DECATUR, Ga. - A convenience store clerk was shot to death late Monday during a robbery at a Texaco gas station in DeKalb County.<br>

Police did not immediately release the 52-year-old victim's name. The shooting happened about 11:15 p.m., according to officials.<br>
<br>
DeKalb Police Lt. G.J. Cortellino said three men entered the Texaco mini-market at Lawrenceville Hwy. and took an undetermined amount of cash. One of the robbers shot the clerk in the chest.<br>
<br>
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he died upon arrival.<br>
<br>
No other injuries were reported. The suspects remain at large.<br>
