GAINESVILLE - Lumpkin County authorities responded to an accident involving a four-wheeler Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened at Mill Creek and Sheepwallow roads at about 4:20 p.m. Early reports from the scene indicated the all-terrain vehicle had collided with a car and that it's riders suffered serious injuries.

State Troopers in Cumming said they were called to the accident on two separate occasions, but they were ultimately called off.

Early Thursday evening, Lumpkin County authorities said two female juveniles lost control, fell off the ATV, and suffered only minor injuries.
