LONG POND, PENNSYLVANIA - For Dawsonville native Bill Elliott, who dominated NASCAR for a period in the 1980s, wins have been few and far in between lately. But, Elliott won Sunday for the second time in 22 races.

Elliott won the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono International Raceway, his fifth win at the track - a track record. Three other drivers have won four times at the 2.5-mile tri-oval, but Elliott is the only driver to win five times at the track.

Elliott was on the pole for the race, just as he was 21 races ago when he won at Homestead, Florida, and until Sunday, that was the last time he was on the pole.
