MARIETTA - Some chiropractic schools are courting Life University students with special offers, including tuition discounts.

Life -- the nation's largest chiropractic school -- lost its accreditation last month. The school's founder, Sid Williams, has since resigned.

While Life is appealing the decision, many students have already left.

The Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas is offering Life students one-thousand dollars of tuition for the first two trimesters, plus a one-thousand dollar relocation grant.

Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena is offering a $1,500 moving expense loan for Life students to be paid back interest-free.

Life student Brian Weingart said the financial incentives other schools are offering are attractive.

But another Life student -- Pete Scire -- said the schools are wrong to try to capitalize on Life's troubles.
