Mother charged with murder in newborn's death

NORCROSS - A 29-year-old Norcross woman has been charged with murder after authorities found a dead newborn face down in a toilet in her apartment. <br> <br> Gwinnett County Police say Neidy Cifuentes was hospitalized with breathing problems, and after it was discovered that she had recently given birth, police and firefighters returned to the apartment and found the boy. <br> <br> Police say Cifuentes, who reportedly has two other children, will be booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center upon her release from the hospital. She was charged Monday.
