Nolley named Clark Atlanta interim coach

ATLANTA - Clark Atlanta athletics director Brenda Edmond has named former assistant men&#39;s basketball coach Larry Nolley as interim coach to replace Anthony Witherspoon, who was fired on Monday. <br> <br> Nolley, who formerly coached the Clark Atlanta women&#39;s team, was an assistant to Witherspoon from 1993 to 1998. Recently, he has coached Panthers volleyball and tennis teams. <br> <br> Edmond also named assistant women&#39;s basketball coach Vanessa White as interim coach to fill the void created by the departure of Angelyne Brown for Morgan State. <br> <br> White, a Birmingham, Ala., native and 1996 graduate of Tuskegee University, has been an assistant at Clark Atlanta for almost two years.
