Two found dead in apartment fire

ATLANTA - Firefighters responding to a blaze at a south Atlanta apartment unit Tuesday found the bodies of a man and a woman, both apparently shot in the head. <br> <br> Arson investigators believe the 6:30 p.m. fire at Capitol View Apartments off Metropolitan Parkway was intentionally set to cover up the homicides, said Atlanta Fire Department spokesman Jolene Butts-Freeman. <br> <br> Firefighters contained the blaze to the kitchen of the second-story unit on University Ave. The burned body of the man was found in the kitchen; the woman&#39;s body was found in the bedroom.
