Three accused of trying to steal chemical for drug making

WAYNESBORO - Authorities have charged three men with trying to steal anhydrous ammonia from a gas company to make methamphetamine. <br>

Mike Seigler, special agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, said Waynesboro police officers found three men trying to take canisters of the gas from Pro Gas Tuesday morning. <br>
<br>
Charged with criminal damage to property, criminal trespass and criminal attempt to manufacture methamphetamines were Edward Kyle Marcola, 28, of Macon; Michael Scott Sayre, 33, of Byron; and Anthony Lanier Wilson, 23, of Adrian. <br>
<br>
Eight others have been charged in similar thefts over the past few months in Burke County, Seigler said.
