MARIETTA - Fans of Scarlett and Rhett will soon celebrate the opening of a new temple of ``Gone With the Wind'' movie memorabilia Sunday on the square in downtown Marietta.

The Shaw-Tumblin Collection ``Gone With the Wind'' Movie Museum will exhibit a frequently changing selection of original costumes and props, autographed scripts and letters and two Academy Awards including the one given to Vivien Leigh for best actress.

Former Hollywood makeup artist Jim Tumblin even has film of numerous screen tests and footage cut from the original six-hour version of David O. Selznick's 1939 classic.

The footage, which must be restored and transferred to safety film and then to videotape cassette before it can viewed at the museum, showed up on Tumblin's doorstep -- a gift from a friend.

Among the screen tests in the collection are those by a host of well-known actresses, including Lucille Ball, Lana Turner, Tallulah Bankhead and Edythe Marrenner, who later changed her name to Susan Hayward.
Scarlett's ``Shanty Town'' costume, the first piece acquired by Tumblin, will be on display along with 38 costumes worn by Leigh, Leslie Howard (Ashley), Olivia de Havilland (Melanie) and Clark Gable (Rhett).
