Jail escapee found in Florida after seven weeks

EASTMAN - A man who escaped from the Dodge County jail seven weeks ago has been captured in Panama City, Fla., officials said. <br>
<br>
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation reported that Glenn Gatlin was hiding out in a mobile home in Florida and captured without incident early Friday. <br>
<br>
Gatlin is a former used car dealer facing 110 charges ranging from felony theft to writing bad checks. <br>
<br>
He escaped April 26 after he was allowed to leave the jail with his attorney's clerk to work on his upcoming trial. He never returned. <br>
<br>
Gatlin is being held in the Bay County jail pending extradition.
