Lochstampfor named new soccer coach at Brenau

GAINESVILLE - Brenau University announced Friday that Michael F. Lochstampfor of Tucker, Ga. will be the new coach for the Women&#39;s College soccer team. Lochstampfor comes to Brenau from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta where he was director of men and women&#39;s soccer programs. <br> <br> In addition to coaching for Oglethorpe, Lochstampfor coached at Reinhardt College in Waleska, Ga. and Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. &#34;I look forward <br> concentrating my efforts on one team,&#34; he said. He has coached at many levels, including youth teams in both Texas and Georgia, and directed many soccer camps. <br> <br> &#34;Mike is very focused and has a great record of college coaching,&#34; said Dean Bill Ware, who led the university search committee for the new coach. <br> <br> Lochstampfor was a successful player, twice named to All-American teams while in college and named to numerous All-Region and All-Conference teams. He played on semi-pro <br> teams both in the U.S. and overseas during high school and college. <br> <br> In addition to coaching soccer, Lochstampfor will manage the university&#39;s Fitness Center.
