State archivist, genealogist dies at 82

ATLANTA - Services were held Tuesday for Ruth Corry, a state archivist and genealogist who headed reference services for the Georgia Department of Archives and History. <br> <br> Corry, of Atlanta, died of complications from heart failure April 30 at Atlanta Medical Center. She was 82. <br> <br> Corry became a charter member of the Georgia Genealogical Society in 1964 and served on its board of directors and as its president until her retirement in 1980. <br> <br> Survivors include a brother.
