ATLANTA - Damian Moss starts for Atlanta Thursday night as the Braves take on yet another former teammate, the Dodgers' Andy Ashby.

Signed as a free agent by the Dodgers after finishing the 2000 season with the Braves, Ashby missed almost all of last season because of elbow surgery. He was 2-0 before the injury. Ashby is 5-4 with a 4.27 ERA in 14 career outings against the Braves.

Moss pitched seven hitless innings in his last start Friday. But after walking seven, he was pulled for a pinch hitter.

Wednesday night, for the second night in a row, an ex-Brave returned to haunt his former teammates. Odalis Perez held Atlanta to five hits in eight innings to lead the Dodgers to a 3-1 victory at Turner Field.
