Bond hearing scheduled for Nuwaubians

MACON - A Federal Bureau of Investigation agent testified Monday that three children told her the founder of the United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors and his companion engaged in sexual acts with them. <br> <br> Dwight York and Kathy Johnson were arrested at the group&#39;s Putnam County compound last week. They have been charged with transporting minors across state lines for sexual purposes. They were in federal court in Macon Monday morning for a bond hearing. <br> <br> The children told Agent Jalaine Ward they were forced to perform oral sex and other illicit acts with York and Johnson. The alleged incidents took place in New York and Georgia. The children -- two girls and a boy -- ranged in age from four years old to eight years old. <br> <br> Court recessed for the day at about 11 a.m. so the judge could consider a defense motion. The hearing will resume Tuesday. <br> <br> The United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors is a predominantly black, quasi-religious group who live in a rural compound resembling an ancient Egypt theme park. In some Nuwaubian literature, York has been referred to as the group&#39;s savior or god and that he was an extraterrestrial from the planet ``Rizq.&#39;&#39;
