BRASELTON - Explosions in a portion of Braselton caused some worry and headaches for some people in south Hall Monday afternoon.
Hall County Sheriff's Captain Ed Barfield said Braselton Planning and Zoning officials authorized a company to do blasting work at a subdivision in the works at Friendship and Spout Springs Roads.

"The city of Braselton annexed that area down there at Duncans Crossroads. That's where the problem is," Barfield said.

"They have given them permission to do the blasting, but they're (Braselton officials) over here making a report just in case there's some liability."

Barfield said his department got numerous calls about the explosions starting just after lunch Monday.
"We received several calls/complaints from people that there house was being shaken. We did have one vehicle that had minor damage to it," Barfield said.
