ALBANY - Police are looking for two men who escaped from the Grady County Jail Monday night.

Twenty-three-year-old Anthony Wilson and 17-year-old Eric Davenport sawed through a jail window just after midnight and climbed two fences.

Police believe they ran from the jail to Barber Park, about a mile away where they were picked up by a car.

Investigators say this isn't the first time Wilson has tried to escape. He had just come off lock-down because he tried to escape the same way a few weeks ago.

Wilson was at the jail charged with shooting and killing a Cairo man a year ago. His murder trial in Cairo is scheduled to begin June third.

It took the Georgia Bureau of Investigation at least seven months to capture the murder suspect in Tennessee last year.
