Marietta man sentenced for trying to entice a minor into sex

ATLANTA - A Marietta man was sentenced to two-and-one-half years in prison Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to trying to entice a minor into having sexual activity. <br> <br> Forty-five-year-old Alan James Audet also must get treatment as a sexual offender, perform 120 hours of community service and serve three years of supervised release. <br> <br> According to the indictment, Audet contacted an undercover FBI agent posing as a 13-year-old girl in an Internet chat room last July and had graphic and sexual discussions. After being told where the ``girl&#39;&#39; lived, Audet drove to an apartment complex in Atlanta and was arrested.
