Teacher arrested after helping students with class prank

SAVANNAH - Chatham County police have arrested a teacher for allegedly helping her students with a class prank that involved stealing a duck from a park and letting it loose in school. <br>
<br>
Leslie Ann Davis, a 23-year-old teacher at Memorial Day School, was charged Monday with obstruction, public drunkenness and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. <br>
<br>
Officers said they found her and five students from the school at Lake Mayer. <br>
<br>
Sergean Mike Wilson said they had taken a duck and had him in a pen in the car. <br>
<br>
Wilson said Davis interfered with the police when they questioned the students and she was drunk. She was taken to jail, and the children were released to their parents. <br>
<br>
Memorial Day School is a private school with around 265 students in elementary through high school levels.
