GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Police are looking for two men suspected of a home invasion Wednesday during which shots were fired.

Lt. Stan Kimbrell said the attempted break-in happened around 10 p.m. when the men knocked on the door at 2685 Lenox Drive and then tried to force their way in.

During the struggle, shots were fired into the house.

"No one in the house was hurt and the suspects left on foot," Kimbrell said. "Tracking dogs were brought in and followed a trail for a short distance."

The suspects were described only as black and wearing dark clothes.
