Girl dies at Brunswick YMCA pool

BRUNSWICK - A 6-year-old girl died in a YMCA pool Friday in what police called a likely drowning. <br> <br> Jada Ellison was swimming with about 30 other children in an after-school program to celebrate the end of school when someone noticed she was unconscious at about 4 p.m. <br> <br> Lifeguards could not revive her, and she was pronounced dead at the nearby Southeast Regional Medical Center. <br> <br> Three lifeguards and three other adults were supervising the pool party, and officials don&#39;t believe there was any negligence, said Sgt. Cathy Varnedoe of the Glynn County Police Department. <br> <br> The children ``were all just swimming and having a good time in the pool,&#39;&#39; she said.
