ATLANTA - Cindy Parlow scored Atlanta's first first-half goal of the season as the Beat defeated the Boston Breakers 1-0 on Saturday night in WUSA. <br>

The Beat (3-3-1), who lost 3-1 at Boston on April 20, won consecutive games for the first time this season. <br>
<br>
Parlow, playing with a broken nose, scored in the 10th minute, redirecting Nikki Serlenga's free kick with a header. <br>
<br>
Boston dropped to 2-3-2.
