Wrong-way driver kills 2 on interstate

ATLANTA - An elderly Ohio man and a Powder Springs woman are dead after their cars collided on Interstate 285. <br> <br> Walter Schneider -- of Springboro, Ohio -- was driving in the wrong direction yesterday. Atlanta police said he was headed eastbound in the westbound lane near the Jonesboro Road exit about 9:30 a-m. <br> <br> Another motorist -- a 22-year-old Powder Springs woman -- could NOT get out of his way. <br> <br> Schneider -- believed to be in his mid-80s -- struck the car, killing the Powder Springs woman and injuring a passenger in the woman&#39;s car. <br> <br> The passenger was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and treated for injuries. Police have NOT immediately release the names of either woman. <br> <br> NO one was charged in the crash. Police are investigating. <br> <br>
