Bob Perry, who is on the association's board of directors, said the association had several concerns, but only one major one.
"The thing we're the most concerned about is the phosphorous content," Perry said. "There are other concerns, but this is the biggest one."
Perry says phosphorous breeds algae which sucks oxygen out of the water.
The association, which met in Cumming, also discussed the status of the lawsuit it has filed against Gwinnett County over Gwinnett's plan to dump an additional 40 million gallons a day of treated wastewater into Lanier.
