Husky performance nets Title in women's hoops

SAN ANTONIO, Texas- Connecticut wasn&#39;t perfect Sunday night but the Huskies were good enough to finish perfect for the season. <br> <br> The Huskies won their third women&#39;s basketball national title by beating stubborn Oklahoma 82-to-70. Connecticut finished with a 39-and-0 record, the first undefeated women&#39;s team since Tennessee in 1998. <br> <br> U-Conn committed 21 turnovers and missed all nine of its three-point shots. But the Huskies had enough talent to win their third national title since 1995. Swin Cash led the Huskies with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Cash was named Final Four M-V-P. <br> <br> Oklahoma stayed in the game by sinking eight shots from three-point land. Stacey Dales had 18 for Oklahoma before fouling out.The Sooners finished 32-and-4. <br>
