Puppies allegedly fed to pit bulls by pair in Albany

ALBANY - Albany police have charged two suspects with cruelty to animals after saying they found a videotape that showed puppies being fed to pit bulls. <br> <br> Investigators have charged 27-year-old George Benyard and 19-year-old Jessica Prescott with dogfighting, cruelty to animals and cruelty to a child for exposing a child to the fighting. <br> <br> Police say the strongest evidence in the case is a videotape that was shot by the suspects. <br> <br> Investigators say the suspects were training the pit bulls to fight. <br> <br> The Humane Society is taking care of nine puppies and two adult dogs that officers confiscated.
