Clemson beats ETSU

CLEMSON, S.C. - Khalil Greene and Jeff Baker each hit homes runs to lead Clemson to a 7-1 victory against East Tennessee State on Tuesday. <br>

The Buccaneers (7-18) got on the board early with a home run by Caleb Moore in the third inning. <br>
<br>
In the fifth inning, Greene sent the first pitch from Buccaneer pitcher Jackson Simerly to left-center and Baker followed by sending the next pitch to nearly the same spot to give the Tigers a 4-1 lead. <br>
<br>
Zane Green faked a bunt in the eighth inning, drilling the ball to right center for a two-run triple for Clemson (24-1). He scored on Garrick Evans' groundout to cap scoring at 7-1. <br>
<br>
B.J. Lamura (2-0) picked up the win. Simerly (0-2) took the loss.
