DEMOREST- In athletics, it is not a long journey from the penthouse to the outhouse.<br>

The Piedmont softball women found that out Sunday.<br>
<br>
A day after sweeping Maryville in a double-header to clinch their regular season Conference Championship, the Lady Lions were themselves swept by visiting Savannah College of Art and Design.<br>
<br>
SCAD won the games 6-1, and 4-3.<br>
<br>
Piedmont is slated to get back into action Thursday at North Greenville in Tigersville, South Carolina.<br>
