STONE MOUNTAIN - Authorities said Wednesday that the skeletal remains found in a shallow grave in DeKalb County woods last week are of a teen-age male homicide victim.
Paul Kelhofer, chief investigator for the DeKalb Medical Examiner's office, said the victim died of at least one gunshot to the chest.
Kelhofer said, ``At least two bones showed defects from a bullet, but we can't tell yet how many times the victim had been shot. It might have been one bullet, we don't know.''

Authorities recovered the remains last Wednesday from a grave eight to nine inches deep. Kelhofer said the bones had been there at least five years.
DeKalb Police said most of the victim's clothing had disintegrated, and no bullets were recovered from the body.
The victim is believed to be a black male 14 to 18 years old.
