Resaca teen killed in early morning traffic accident

DALTON - A Resaca teen was killed in an early morning accident on Interstate 75 in Whitfield County. <br>
<br>
The Whitfield County Sheriffs Office said 19-year-old Reggie Redd died of massive head injuries in Tuesday's accident. <br>
<br>
Officials said Redd was ejected from a 2002 Chevrolet pickup which left the roadway and overturned several times. Officials said a woman in the truck was not injured. <br>
<br>
The crash occurred about 2 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate at about mile marker 327 near the Georgia Connector Three interchange. No other vehicles were involved.
