Gators beat Vols in 10 innings; SEC baseball roundup

KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE - Mario Garza&#39;s two-run homer in the sixth inning Saturday night helped Florida beat Tennessee 8-5. <br> <br> Trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth, Tennessee&#39;s Ryan Moffett singled home Walter Sevilla to send the game into extra innings. <br> <br> But David Klebonis&#39; RBI double scored two of the three runs in the 10th inning to help Florida (26-11, 8-6 Southeastern Conference) defeat Tennessee (17-20, 4-10). <br> <br> Garza&#39;s ninth home run of the season tied the game at 4-4. Then in the seventh, Aaron Sobieraj&#39;s RBI snapped the tie to put Florida on top. <br> <br> Kevin Coleman (1-2) got the win, and Jeffery Terrell (2-6) suffered the loss.<br> <br> OLE MISS 2, AUBURN 1<br> <br> OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI - Pete Montrenes pitched eight shutout innings and T.J. Beam retired the last two batters with the potential tying run on second as Mississippi defeated Auburn 2-1 on Saturday. <br> <br> Montrenes (8-2) allowed six hits and one walk, but departed after Scott Shade&#39;s one-out, RBI double cut the Rebels&#39; lead to 2-1 in the ninth. <br> <br> Beam relieved and retired Doug Vines on a fly ball to left and Trent Pratt on a fly ball to right for his third save. <br> <br> Clint Farrar gave Ole Miss (28-8, 9-5 Southeastern Conference) a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the third. Josh Christian made it 2-0 in the seventh with a sacrifice fly that scored Chad Sterbens, who led off with a double. <br> <br> Auburn starter Levale Speigner (6-4) allowed four hits and two runs in 6 1-3 innings. <br> <br> The Tigers (25-12, 7-7) snapped the Rebels&#39; 12-game winning streak with a 10-3 victory on Friday. <br> <br> ARKANSAS 7, MISSISSIPPI ST. 3<br> <br> STARKVILLE, MISSISSIPPI - Andrew Wishy and Michael Connor hit home runs and each drove in two runs as Arkansas defeated Mississippi State 7-3 on Saturday. <br> <br> Wishy&#39;s two-run home run put the Razorbacks (19-12, 5-6 Southeastern Conference) up 3-0 in the fourth inning. Arkansas scored twice more in the inning on an RBI single by Jeff Fletcher and a throwing error by pitcher Tanner Brock. <br> <br> Connor led off the sixth with his eighth homer and had an RBI double in the seventh that gave Arkansas a 7-1 lead. <br> <br> Jarrett Gardner (1-0), who was moved into Arkansas&#39; starting rotation last week, allowed five hits and two runs in 6 1-3 innings. It was the longest outing of the former closer&#39;s career. <br> <br> Josh Merryman worked the final 2 2-3 innings, allowing three hits. <br> <br> Chad Henry hit his second home run of the season for Mississippi State (20-12-1, 7-6) and Michael Brown was 2-for-4 with an RBI. <br> <br> Brock (4-3) worked 5 1-3 innings and allowed seven hits and six runs.
