Boston man drowns in apartment swimming pool

SAVANNAH - A Boston man visiting relatives at a Savannah apartment drowned in the apartment pool on Sunday. <br> <br> Savannah police said Larry Brewington, 39, apparently scaled the fence at the Alhambra Apartments pool, which has not yet opened for the season. Authorities said the gate to the pool was locked. <br> <br> Family members told officers they tried to get Brewington to get out of the pool, but he disregarded their requests. A short time later he disappeared. A family member climbed the fence and pulled him from the pool where CPR was attempted. <br> <br> Brewington was taken to Memorial Health University hospital where he was prounounced dead at 4:45 p.m. <br> <br>
