Kidnapping suspect arrested in Alabama

CARROLLTON - A man accused of kidnapping a Temple woman in December has been arrested in Alabama, police said Monday. <br> <br> Jerry Wayne Anthony, 21, of Haralson County was apprehended after he was stopped Sunday night for a license tag violation, Carrollton police Capt. Michael Mansour said. <br> <br> Anthony and Dorine Tyson, 22, of Winter Haven, Fla., are accused of abducting the 59-year-old woman Dec. 23 from the a supermarket parking lot in a robbery attempt. As police chased their van, it crashed into a fence. <br> <br> Tyson was apprehended, but Anthony escaped into the woods. The victim, who was found inside of the van, sustained minor injuries from which she has reportedly recovered.
