DAHLONEGA- The rainy weather over the weekend forced a delay in a scheduled North Georgia College and State University baseball game.<br>

The Saints' baseball postponed on Friday, April 12, due to inclement weather was rescheduled to Monday in Dahlonega with good results for the home team.<br>
<br>
North Georgia (31-17,10-7 Georgia-Alabama-Carolina Conference) beat conference opponent Southern Wesleyan University 9-5. <br>
<br>
The North Georgia women's softball team (28-11, 10-4 GACC) swept a double-header from Brewton Parker Monday: 5-3 and 9-1.<br>
<br>
Meawnhile, Truett-McConell College out of Cleveland, won in baseball on Saturday and Sunday against Abraham Baldwin College from Tifton.<br>
<br>
North Georgia was also able to play Saturday, and took two from SWU.<br>
<br>
Gainesville High alum , freshman Bryan Brinson, was a big part of the two wins, as he went 4-for-6 with a home run, a double, and 2RBI in the twin killing.<br>
<br>
The Saints won game one 8-1. <br>
<br>
In the second game, Brinson was 3-for-3 with a homer as NGC&SU won 10-5.<br>
<br>
Another Hall County alumnus, Johnson High grad Brandon Nash, picked up two saves for Truett-McConnell College out of Cleveland over the weekend.<br>
<br>
Nash got the save Saturday in a 4-1 win over Abraham Baldwin College. After being brought in with a man aboard and nobody out, Nash threw what turned into a double-play grounder, and struck out the last batter.<br>
<br>
Sunday, Nash got his fifth save of the season and second in as many days in a 5-3 win over ABC. He pitched the ninth and got the batters to hit two ground ball outs before he struck out the last man he faced.<br>
<br>
Nash also has three wins , and reportedly one of the lowest ERA's in the country, a 1.66.<br>
<br>
With the wins over Abraham Baldwin, TMC, now 11-7 in the Georgia Junior College Athletic Association, has likely made the conference playoffs to be held May 9th-11th.<br>
