WGCL gets new general manager

ATLANTA - Sue Schwartz - formerly general manager of television stations KTVK and KASW in Phoenix - has been named as general manager at WGCL-TV in Atlanta. <br>

WGCL's owner - Meredith Corporation - announced the appointment Tuesday. <br>
<br>
In February, Allen Shaklan resigned as general manager of the CBS affiliate. The station also halted its ``Clear News'' marketing promotion. <br>
<br>
Schwartz, whose husband, Sandy, is general manager of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, said she has made no decision about making any changes at WGCL.
