Raindance acquires Atlanta-based InterAct Conferencing

LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - Raindance Communications announced Thursday it will acquire Atlanta-based InterAct Conferencing LLC by the end of next month in a $10 million deal. <br>

The purchase will help Louisville-based Raindance, a Web and phone conferencing provider, expand its reach and customer base, president and chief executive officer Paul Berberian said. <br>

``This acquisition is a great complement to our business and an important step forward in our strategy to aggressively expand sales efforts and top-line growth this year,'' he said. <br>
<br>
InterAct was the largest reseller of Raindance's conferencing services. <br>
<br>
As part of the deal, InterAct chief executive officer Carolyn Bradfield will become Raindance's senior vice president of sales and marketing. All other InterAct employees will work for Raindance in Atlanta.
