STATESBORO - Quarterbacks Trey Hunter and Chaz Williams combined for 362 yards of offense as the Blue, led by Williams, beat Hunter's White team 21-17 in Georgia Southern's annual spring football game on Saturday. <br>

Hunter, a redshirt sophomore, accounted for 230 yards and led the White team to touchdowns on its first two possessions. Hunter ran for 118 yards and passed for another 73. He also caught a pass from slotback Kevin Davis covering 39 yards. <br>

Williams, also a redshirt sophomore, marched the Blue squad 65 yards on 12 plays for the winning touchdown, which Williams scored on a 15-yard run with 7:41 remaining. Williams ran for 88 yards and passed for 44. <br>

``Both quarterbacks drove their respective teams to three scores each, and really, that's all I can ask of them,'' GSU coach Mike Sewak said. ``They've shown a lot of improvement every day since we started spring practice and today was no exception.'' <br>
<br>
The White team scores came on a 1-yard run by Hakim Ford, a 14-yard run by Zzream Walden and a 48-yard field goal by Sean Holland. <br>
<br>
Beside's Williams' game-winning score, the other Blue touchdowns came on a 65-yard run by Mark Myers and a 4-yard run by Jermaine Austin.
