Mashburn diagnosed with anemia

CHARLOTTE -- Charlotte Hornets forward Jamal Mashburn has been diagnosed with a mild case of anemia that kept him from playing tonight against Orlando. <br>

Mashburn has been ill since Saturday, when he tried to play in the playoff series opener. He was taken to a hospital after vomiting during the first quarter. <br>
<br>
Mashburn returned to the hospital tonight to receive an I-V. A team spokesman says Mashburn will be hospitalized overnight. <br>
