Funeral services held for Augusta teen killed by ex-boyfriend

AUGUSTA - Funeral services for the 16-year-old girl who was beaten and stabbed to death are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher Funeral Home. <br> <br> Police said Stephanie Nicole Burnett was killed Sunday night by her ex-boyfriend because he believed she was pregnant and didn&#39;t want her to have the baby. An autopsy at the Georgia Crime lab on Tuesday revealed that Burnett was not pregnant. <br> <br> District Attorney Danny Craig said he plans to try 16-year-old Matthew John Wiedeman as an adult. Wiedeman and 17-year-old Raymond Anthony Soto are charged with murder in Burnett&#39;s death. <br> <br> Police said Wiedeman thought Burnett was pregnant by him and decided to kill her because she refused to have an abortion.
