DETROIT - Jeff Suppan tossed a complete-game two-hitter as the Kansas City Royals blanked the Detroit Tigers 4-to-0. <br>

The game was scoreless until the eighth until Carlos Febles came home on Jeff Weaver's wild pitch. Febles had singled with one out in the inning and moved to third on Donnie Sadler's double. <br>
<br>
The Royals added three runs in the ninth on r-b-i singles by Joe Randa, Febles and a bases-loaded walk to Sadler. <br>
<br>
Suppan walked one and struck out three in his third career shutout and tenth career complete game. He improves to 2-and-3. Weaver falls to 1-and-4.
