Fatal shooting in southwest DeKalb County

DECATUR - One person has been shot by a police officer in a southwest DeKalb County neighborhood Monday. <br>

WSB-TV reports that the officer was responding to an alarm that went off in the house when a scuffle broke out. The body of the suspect remains in the woods behind the house. <br>
<br>
Authorities have blocked off four homes on Brandon Berry Road near Interstate 20 in southwest DeKalb County.
