CLAYTON - A Toccoa teenager was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Rabun County. The State Patrol reports Amy Sue Walker, 18 of Toccoa was killed in the 7:30 am wreck on U-S 441, just outside the city limits of Clayton.
Troopers say her '93 Nissan hydroplaned, crossed the centerline and crashed into an oncoming Tagaloo Gas tanker truck, which overturned into a nearby creek.
The truck driver, identified as Jake Herbert Bowen, 52 was taken to Rabun County Memorial Hospital. His injuries are described as "visible, but not life-threatening."
