Lady Saints have 5-1 weekend

It was a mostly winning weekend for the North Georgia College and State University women's softball team.<br>
<br>
The Lady Saints were in Athens, Tennessee at a tournament Friday where they beat Tennessee Wesleyan 3-2, Tusculum College 4-1, and shut out UVA-Wise 8-0.<br>
<br>
The Lady Saints came back on Saturday and beat Tusculum again, this time 4-zip.<br>
<br>
On Sunday North Georgia split a double-header with UWG, winning the first game 5-0, but dropping the nightcap 4-2.<br>
<br>
The Lady Saints are 11-5 on the season.<br>
