Former North Hall tennis player Matt Thom won in singles and doubles for Oglethorpe University in a Friday tennis win over LaGrange College. <br>

Ogelthorpe traveled to Sewanee, Tennessee for Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matches Sunday with the University of the South and Centre College, Kentucky. Thom won at number one doubles in a losing venture for the team.<br>

Gainesville High alum Kingsley Barrett was a part of a big win for the Auburn women's golf team over Georgia Monday. Barrett shot a 76 and the Tigers won by 25 strokes in the Auburn One-Day Invitational<br>

Auburn is rated number one by Golf Week, while the defending National Champion Lady Bulldogs are ranked 9th.<br>
<br>
Courtney Swaim out of Sugar Hill led Auburn and all-scorers with a 71. <br>
<br>
Angela Jerman was top 'Dog with 76.<br>

Barrett and the Tigers are next scheduled at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic hosted by UGA March 22-24.<br>

Johnson graduate Brandon Nash stepped out of his closer's role for Truett-McConnell College Monday, and pitched a complete game shut out in a 10-0 win over Tennessee's Hiawassee College.<br>
<br>
Nash, a freshman from Flowery Branch, is a dean's list scholar who is attending TMC on an academic/athletic scholarship.<br>
<br>
Truett-McConnell has Roane State of Tennessee on their schedule for Thursday at 1PM in Cleveland.
