Kingston man sentenced to 10 years in prison for child molestation

CARTERSVILLE - A 56-year-old Bartow County man convicted of child molestation in February has been sentenced to ten years in prison and ten years probation. <br>

Bartow County Superior Court Judge Carey Nelson sentenced Frank Snyder of Kingston yesterday. He was charged with five counts of child molestation involving two girls under the age of 16. He was convicted on one of the counts, having sex with a 15-year-old girl. <br>
<br>
Snyer was acquitted of the other counts, including touching the girl inappropriately, forcing the girl to touch him inappropriately and exposing himself to a seven-year-old girl. <br>
<br>
Court records indicated the four incidents involving the 15-year-old allegedly occurred between August 1-September 30, 1999. The one count involving the seven-year-old allegedly took place between January 1-May 21, 2001.
